What Would You Do for a Klondike Bar?
Video entries will be accepted through July 31 at www.KlondikeContest.com, where fans can vote on and rate their favorite off-the-wall videos throughout the summer. Semi-finalist videos will be selected based on fan ratings, as well as feedback from a panel of judges, so every vote counts. Four finalist videos will be announced in August and America also will help select the grand-prize winning video, which will be announced in September. The grand-prize winning video entrant will receive $100,000 and a trip for a one-on-one digital short consultation with Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone of "Saturday Night Live." The team, collectively known as The Lonely Island is best known for directing, writing and starring in hilarious, off-the-wall digital shorts, including "Lazy Sunday" and the Emmy Award-winning SNL digital short, "D*** in A Box" with Justin Timberlake. The comedy team also will be part of the overall judging panel to help select the grand-prize winner. Early - May 15 ($30 entry fee)
Regular - June 15 ($35 entry fee)

Chicago Horror Film Festival - Accepting Entries

Since 2003, the CHICAGO HORROR FILM FESTIVAL has screened over 150 films and has featured appearances by Stuart Gordon (The Re-Animator, Stuck), Steven Williams (Jason Goes to Hell), Daniel Roebuck (Lost, Graves End), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm, Fallen Angels), Edwin Neal (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th), Ron Fitzgerald (Magus, The Thirsting), Eric Forsburg (Alien Abduction), Syn DeVil (The 8th Plague), and many, many more!

The 2008 CHICAGO HORROR FILM FESTIVAL will feature even more special guests, more films, and lots o' mayhem!

The Austin Film Festival is happy to announce it is open for entries for the 2008 festival. Last year AFF screened over 175 films and looks to keep growing this year!
